Imperial Rolls
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Filling
In a mixing bowl, combine shrimp, ground pork, chopped mushrooms, grated carrot, soaked clear noodles, minced garlic, soy sauce, black pepper, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
- 2
Wrap the Rolls
Soak rice paper wrappers in warm water for about 5 seconds until pliable. Place a spoonful of filling on the lower third of the wrapper, fold the sides over, and roll tightly to form an imperial roll. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
- 3
Fry the Rolls
In a large pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Fry the rolls in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 4
Serve
Serve crispy imperial rolls with fresh lettuce, herbs, and a side of chili lime sauce for dipping.
