Misto Platter Directions
- 1
Prepare the Polenta Croutons
Start by cooking the polenta according to package instructions. Once cooked, spread it evenly in a baking tray and let it cool until firm.
- 2
Slice the Polenta
Once the polenta is cooled and set, cut it into cubes or desired shapes to make croutons.
- 3
Cook the Polenta Croutons
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Place the polenta pieces on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Bake for about 20 minutes until golden and crispy.
- 4
Prepare the Platter
While the croutons are baking, arrange the sliced sopressata and prosciutto on a large serving platter.
- 5
Add the Vegetables
Add the marinated artichokes, fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers, and olives to the platter, distributing them evenly around the cured meats.
- 6
Finish with Croutons
Once the polenta croutons are ready, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly before adding them to the platter.
- 7
Garnish and Serve
Garnish the platter with fresh basil leaves. Serve immediately with your choice of bread or crackers.
