Sangria Ingredients
Method
Sangria Preparation
Prepare the Fruits
Wash the fresh strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries thoroughly. Slice the strawberries into halves or quarters depending on their size. Cut the orange and lemon into thin slices, discarding any seeds.
Mix the Base
In a large pitcher, combine the Cabernet Sauvignon and cranberry juice. Stir well to blend the two liquids together.
Add the Fruits
Add the prepared strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, orange slices, and lemon slices into the pitcher. Stir gently to incorporate the fruits into the wine mixture.
Sweeten the Sangria
Pour in the simple syrup and stir again to ensure that the sweetness is evenly distributed throughout the sangria.
Chill the Sangria
Cover the pitcher with plastic wrap or a lid and place it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, allowing the flavors to meld together. For best results, chill overnight.
