Prepare the Cheese
Cut the mozzarella cheese into four equal triangles.

In a small bowl, beat the egg and set aside.

Combine Dry Ingredients
In a shallow dish, combine flour, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper.

Bread the Cheese Triangles
Dip each triangle of mozzarella into the egg wash, then coat it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure the coating sticks.
Frying

Heat the Oil
In a deep skillet or frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Cheese
Carefully place the breaded cheese triangles into the hot oil, frying for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Combine Sauce Ingredients
Add crushed tomatoes, oregano, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
