Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Goat Cheese

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the goat cheese in a small baking dish.

  2. 2

    Top with Pistachios

Sprinkle the crushed pistachios over the goat cheese evenly.

  3. 3

    Make Balsamic Figs

In a small saucepan, combine the chopped figs, balsamic vinegar, and honey. Cook over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes until the figs soften and the mixture thickens slightly.

  4. 4

    Add Pepper

Stir in the freshly ground black pepper into the balsamic fig mixture.

  5. 5

    Bake the Cheese

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is warm and slightly golden.

  6. 6

    Prepare the Baguette

While the cheese is baking, brush the baguette slices with olive oil and toast them in the oven for the last 5-7 minutes until golden brown.

  7. 7

    Serve

Once the goat cheese is baked, remove it from the oven and drizzle the balsamic fig mixture over the top. Serve hot with the toasted baguette slices.
