Directions for Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl
- 1
Prepare the Sushi Rice
Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. In a pot, combine the rinsed rice and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer, cover, and cook for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let it sit for 10 minutes, covered.

Marinate the Ahi Tuna
While the rice is cooking, cut the Ahi tuna into small cubes. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar. Add the tuna cubes to the marinade and let it sit for about 15 minutes.

Prepare the Avocado
Slice the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh out. Cut it into thin slices.
