Method

Preparing the Chicken

  1. 1

    Season the Chicken

In a bowl, season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Allow to sit for about 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.

  2. 2

    Prepare Breading Stations

Set up three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs.

  3. 3

    Bread the Chicken

Coat each piece of chicken in flour, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

  4. 4

    Fry the Chicken

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Fry each breaded chicken breast for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.

Cooking the Sides

  1. 5

    Cook the Rice

In a saucepan, combine white rice, water, and salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the rice is tender and water is absorbed.

  2. 6

    Prepare French Fries

In a deep fryer or large pot, heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry the French fries according to package instructions or until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels and season with salt.

Final Assembly

  1. 7

    Prepare Toppings

Dice the tomato and slice the avocado.

  2. 8

    Assemble the Dish

On a plate, serve the fried chicken with a side of rice and French fries. Top the chicken with diced tomato and sliced avocado.
