Method

Preparation of Meat

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Pound the thin-cut beef steaks with a meat mallet to ensure even thickness. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

Breading Process

  1. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

In three shallow bowls, place the flour in the first bowl, beat the eggs in the second bowl, and place the breadcrumbs in the third bowl. Make sure to have enough space to work.

  2. 3

    Bread the Steaks

Dredge each steak in flour, shaking off excess, dip into the beaten eggs, and then coat with breadcrumbs, pressing down to adhere.

Frying

  1. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking.

  2. 5

    Fry the Steaks

Carefully place the breaded steaks in the hot oil, cooking for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Serving

  1. 6

    Plate the Dish

Serve the fried milanesa on a plate alongside a portion of French fries and cooked rice. Top with slices of tomato and avocado.
