Prepare the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the double-smoked bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Cook the Burger Patties
Season the prime rib burger patties with salt and black pepper. In the same skillet, cook the burger patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

Add Cheese
In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of aged Cheddar cheese on each burger patty and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.

Assemble the Burger
Spread mayo on the bottom half of each burger bun. Place a lettuce leaf, a tomato slice, and the burger patty with melted cheese on top. Add two slices of crispy bacon and top with the other half of the bun.

Serve
Serve the Old Fashioned Burger immediately with your favorite sides.
