Prepare Ribs

Seasoning the Ribs
Preheat your grill or oven to 300°F (150°C). Rub the pork ribs with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Allow them to marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking the Brisket
Smoke or slow-cook the brisket until it reaches an internal temperature of 190°F (88°C). Slice and set aside.
Prepare Cornbread

Mixing Cornbread Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and melted butter. Combine wet and dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

Baking the Cornbread
Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and bake at 400°F (200°C) for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
Serve

Plating the Meal
Serve 3 ribs with a portion of smoked brisket, a side of coleslaw, and a piece of cornbread. Drizzle additional BBQ sauce over the ribs if desired.
