Preparing the Prawns

Boil the Prawns
In a large pot, bring 1 liter of water to a boil. Add 1 teaspoon of salt.

Cook the Prawns
Once the water is boiling, add the peeled and deveined prawns. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the prawns turn pink and opaque.

Drain and Cool
Remove the prawns from the boiling water and drain them in a colander. Rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process and allow them to cool.

Marinate
In a bowl, combine the cooled prawns with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Toss to coat and let them marinate for 10 minutes.
Making the Cocktail Sauce

Combine Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup of ketchup, 2 tablespoons of horseradish sauce, 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of black pepper.

Mix Well
Stir the ingredients together until well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Serving

Plate the Prawns
Arrange the marinated prawns on a serving platter or individual cocktail glasses.

Add Sauce
Serve with the cocktail sauce on the side or drizzled over the prawns.
