Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ono Steaks

Rinse the Ono steaks under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season both sides of the steaks with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Mince the Garlic

Peel the garlic cloves and mince them finely using a knife or a garlic press.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Sauté the Garlic

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, taking care not to let it burn.

  2. 4

    Cook the Ono Steaks

Increase the heat to medium-high and add the seasoned Ono steaks to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for a medium-rare finish, or longer if desired.

  3. 5

    Add Remaining Olive Oil

In the last minute of cooking, drizzle the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil over the steaks to enhance flavor and moisture.

Serving

  1. 6

    Plate the Dish

Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
