Prepare the Ingredients
Gather all the ingredients: Japanese bread, cheddar cheese, muenster cheese, and unsalted butter. Ensure the cheese slices are ready to be placed between the bread.

Butter the Bread
Spread 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter on one side of each slice of Japanese bread.

Assemble the Sandwich
On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer the cheddar cheese followed by the muenster cheese. Top with the other slice of bread, buttered side facing out.

Heat the Pan
Preheat a skillet or frying pan over medium heat.

Flip the Sandwich
Carefully flip the sandwich using a spatula and grill the other side for another 3-4 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Remove and Serve
Once both sides are crispy and the cheese is melted, remove the sandwich from the skillet. Let it cool for a minute, then slice in half and serve warm.
