Preparing the Prawns

Drain and Cool
Once cooked, drain the prawns and transfer them to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Let them cool for about 5 minutes.

Peel the Prawns
Once cooled, peel the prawns, removing the shell and tail, and set aside.
Making the Cocktail Sauce

Mix the Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce, and lemon juice. Stir well until fully combined.

Add Fresh Dill (Optional)
If using, chop the fresh dill and fold it into the sauce for added flavor.
Assembling the Dish

Prepare the Serving Dish
On a serving plate, lay out the lettuce leaves as a bed for the prawns.

Place the peeled prawns on top of the lettuce leaves.

Serve the prawn cocktail with the cocktail sauce on the side and garnish with lemon wedges.
