In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Once the yeast is activated, add it to the flour mixture along with olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.

Knead and Rise
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) to ensure it’s hot when the pizza goes in.
Assemble and Bake

Shape Dough
Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer it to a pizza stone or baking sheet.

Add Sauce and Toppings
Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the crust. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce and then evenly distribute the prepared vegetables. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with dried oregano, salt, and pepper.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
