Prepare the Glass
Chill an old-fashioned glass by filling it with ice water. Set aside.

In a mixing glass, add 2 oz of Maker's Mark Bourbon, 0.5 oz of simple syrup, and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters.

Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes and stir the mixture for about 30 seconds until well chilled.
