Preparation of Coffee Mixture

Brew the Espresso
Brew 240 ml of strong espresso coffee and let it cool to room temperature.

Mix with Liqueur
In a shallow dish, combine the cooled espresso with 60 ml of coffee liqueur. Set aside.
Preparation of Filling

Whisk Egg Yolks
In a mixing bowl, whisk together 4 egg yolks and 100 g of sugar until the mixture is pale and creamy.

Add Mascarpone
Add 500 g of mascarpone cheese and 1 tsp of vanilla extract to the egg yolk mixture. Mix until smooth.

Whip Cream
In a separate bowl, whip 240 ml of heavy cream until soft peaks form.

Fold Cream into Mixture
Carefully fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
Assembling the Tiramisu

Dip Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger cookie into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

Layer Cookies and Filling
In a rectangular dish, create a layer of soaked ladyfingers, followed by a layer of the mascarpone filling. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.

Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
Topping the Tiramisu

Before serving, dust the top of the tiramisu with 30 g of cocoa powder using a fine sieve.
