Method
Pizza Dough Preparation
- 1
Make the Dough
In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy. Add in the olive oil and salt. Gradually mix in the flour until a dough forms.
- 2
Knead the Dough
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- 3
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) while the dough is rising.
Sauce and Topping Preparation
- 4
- 5
Prepare the Toppings
Slice the roasted Spanish onion and prepare the lobster meat and shrimp by ensuring they're cooked and chopped/deveined properly.
Assembling and Baking the Pizza
- 6
Shape the Dough
Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer it to a pizza stone or baking sheet.
- 7
Add Sauce and Toppings
Spread the cream and lemon olive oil mixture over the dough. Evenly sprinkle the mozzarella and provolone cheese, followed by the roasted onion, dry-cured pepperoni, lobster meat, shrimp, dried oregano, and sliced pepperoncini.
- 8
Bake the Pizza
Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
- 9
Slice and Serve
Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool for a couple of minutes, then slice and serve hot.
