1. Dice Tomatoes

Chop the ripe tomatoes into small cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.

2. Mince Garlic

Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves, then add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.

3. Chop Basil

Rinse the basil leaves under cold water, pat them dry, then chop them into small pieces. Add them to the mixing bowl.

4. Season the Mixture

Add the balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper to the tomato mixture. Stir gently to combine all ingredients evenly.

5. Slice Baguette

Cut the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices diagonally.

6. Brush with Olive Oil

Brush each slice of baguette with olive oil on one side.

7. Grill Bread

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Place the bread slices oil-side down on the grill. Grill for about 2-3 minutes until golden and crisp. Flip and grill for an additional 1-2 minutes.

Assembly

8. Top the Bread

Remove the grilled bread from the grill and let it cool slightly. Spoon the tomato mixture generously onto the grilled side of each slice.

9. Serve

Arrange the bruschetta on a serving platter and serve immediately.
