Broth Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Pork Bones
Rinse the pork bones under cold water to remove any impurities. Place them in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and let it boil for 10 minutes, then drain and rinse the bones again.
- 2
Make the Broth
In a large pot, add the rinsed pork bones and 4 liters of fresh water. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Add soy sauce, mirin, miso paste, crushed garlic cloves, sliced ginger, and chopped green onions. Simmer for at least 4 hours, skimming any foam that rises to the top.
Noodle and Topping Preparation

Cook the Ramen Noodles
In a separate pot, bring water to a boil. Add the fresh ramen noodles and cook according to package instructions (usually about 3-4 minutes). Once cooked, drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.

Combine and Serve
In a deep bowl, place a serving of cooked ramen noodles. Ladle hot broth over the noodles. Top with slices of chashu pork, half a soft-boiled egg, bamboo shoots, corn, bean sprouts, and a sheet of nori. Garnish with additional green onions if desired. Serve hot.
