Preparation of Spicy Beef Sauce

Cook the Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon.

Add Jalapeños
Chop the jalapeños (seeds removed for less heat, if desired) and add them to the skillet, stirring them into the beef mixture.

Mix in Tomato Sauce and Spices
Pour the tomato sauce into the skillet and add chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine and let simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

Prepare the Tortilla Chips
Spread the tortilla chips evenly on a large baking sheet.

Top with Beef Sauce
Spoon the spicy beef sauce evenly over the tortilla chips, ensuring each chip gets a generous amount.

Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top of the beef-covered chips.

Place the baking sheet in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove the nachos from the oven. Garnish with fresh cilantro, dollops of sour cream, and guacamole as desired. Serve warm.
