Prepare the Bread
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut the French baguette in half lengthwise and then slice each half into smaller pieces if desired. Arrange the pieces on a baking sheet.

Toast the Bread
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and toast for about 5-7 minutes, or until the bread is golden and crispy.

Chop the Tomatoes
While the bread is toasting, wash and dice the fresh tomatoes into small cubes.

Chop the Basil
Wash the fresh basil leaves, pat them dry, and chop them coarsely.

Prepare the Garlic
Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves.

Mix the Topping
In a mixing bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped basil, minced garlic, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Stir gently to mix all the ingredients well.

Top the Bread
Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly. Spoon the tomato mixture generously over each piece of toasted bread.

Serve the bruschetta immediately while the bread is still warm and enjoy!
