Method

Preparing Steak

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Generously season the ribeye steaks with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Grill the Steak

Preheat the grill to high heat. Brush the steaks with olive oil and grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Adjust the time for your preferred doneness.

  3. 3

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.

Making French Fries

  1. 4

    Prepare Potatoes

Peel and cut the russet potatoes into thin strips.

  2. 5

    Heat Oil

In a large pot, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  3. 6

    Fry Potatoes

Fry the potato strips in batches until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  4. 7

    Season Fries

    Sprinkle with salt while hot.

Making Garlic Butter

  1. 8

    Melt Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat.

  2. 9

    Add Garlic and Parsley

Add minced garlic and chopped parsley to the melted butter and cook for an additional 2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. 10

    Season

Add salt to taste and remove from heat.

Serving

  1. 11

    Plate the Dish

Slice the rested steak and serve alongside the crispy French fries. Drizzle the garlic butter over the steak and fries.
