Mojito Ingredients

Method

Mojito Preparation

1

Muddle the Mint and Sugar

In a sturdy glass, add the fresh mint leaves and granulated sugar. Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, gently muddle the mint leaves with the sugar to release the mint oils. Be careful not to tear the leaves too much.

2

Add Lime Juice

Cut the lime in half and squeeze the juice from both halves into the glass. You can also drop one half into the glass for extra flavor. Stir the mixture well to combine the mint, sugar, and lime juice.

3

Pour in the Rum

Add the white rum to the glass and stir again to mix all the ingredients thoroughly.

4

Add Ice

Fill the glass with ice cubes, packing them in to chill the drink.

5

Top with Club Soda

Pour the club soda over the ice until the glass is full. Stir gently to combine without losing the carbonation.

6

Garnish and Serve

Garnish the drink with a sprig of fresh mint. Optionally, you can add a lime wedge on the rim of the glass. Serve immediately and enjoy!
