Method

Prepare the Ribeye

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Sprinkle both sides of the ribeye steak with salt and black pepper. Let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to enhance flavor and tenderness.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat, around 450-500°F (232-260°C).

  3. 3

    Oil the Grill Grates

Using a paper towel dipped in olive oil, carefully wipe down the grill grates to prevent sticking.

Cook the Ribeye

  1. 4

    Grill the Steak

Place the ribeye steaks on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes for medium-rare, adjusting time for desired doneness.

  2. 5

    Rest the Steak

Once cooked to your liking, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Prepare the Vegetables

  1. 6

    Chop the Vegetables

While the steak is resting, chop asparagus, bell peppers, and zucchini into bite-sized pieces. Mince the garlic.

  2. 7

    Season the Vegetables

In a bowl, toss the chopped vegetables with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper to taste.

Cook the Vegetables

  1. 8

    Grill the Vegetables

Place the seasoned vegetables on the grill in a grill basket or aluminum foil. Grill for 8-10 minutes, tossing occasionally until tender and slightly charred.

Serve

  1. 9

    Plate the Dish

Slice the rested ribeye steak and serve alongside the grilled seasonal vegetables on a plate.
