Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
Combine Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
Cut in Butter
Using a pastry cutter or your fingers, cut the unsalted butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Add Buttermilk
Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and pour in the buttermilk. Stir gently with a wooden spoon until the dough just comes together. Do not overmix.
Knead the Dough
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and gently knead it 5-6 times until it’s smooth.
Roll and Cut
Roll out the dough to about 1-inch thickness. Use a biscuit cutter to cut out biscuits and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Honey Butter
Prepare Honey Butter
