    Prepare the Mixing Glass

    In a mixing glass, add the bourbon, sweet vermouth, and Angostura bitters.

    Add Ice

    Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes.

    Stir the Mixture

    Using a bar spoon, stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds or until well chilled.

Serving

    Strain into Glass

    Strain the mixture into a chilled rocks glass filled with fresh ice cubes.

    Twist the orange peel over the drink to release the oils, then drop it into the glass. Add the maraschino cherry on top for garnish.
