Method

Broth Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Broth

In a large pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

  2. 2

    Combine Ingredients

Add the chicken broth, soy sauce, chili paste, peanut butter, rice vinegar, and salt to the pot. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

Pork Preparation

  1. 3

    Cook the Pork

In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground pork, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and chili paste. Cook until the pork is browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.

  2. 4

    Finish the Pork

Stir in the chopped green onions and remove from heat.

Vegetable Preparation

  1. 5

    Steam the Bok Choy

In a steamer basket, steam the chopped bok choy over boiling water for about 3-4 minutes until tender but still bright green.

Noodle Preparation

  1. 6

    Cook the Noodles

In a separate pot, cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Final Assembly

  1. 7

    Assemble the Dish

In serving bowls, place a portion of cooked noodles. Ladle the spicy sesame broth over the noodles, top with the ground pork mixture, steamed bok choy, and garnish with chopped chives.
