Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork

Thinly slice the pork loin against the grain into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Slice the Vegetables

Peel and slice the onion into thin strips. Peel and mince the garlic cloves.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Ginger

Peel and mince the fresh ginger.

Sauce Preparation

  1. 4

    Mix the Sauce

In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, brown sugar, cornstarch, and water. Stir well until the sugar and cornstarch are dissolved.

Cooking

  1. 5

    Sauté Pork

In a large pan, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced pork and sauté until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.

  2. 6

    Cook Vegetables

In the same pan, add the sliced onion and minced garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onion is translucent.

  3. 7

    Add Ginger

Add the minced ginger to the pan and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.

  4. 8

    Combine and Thicken Sauce

Return the cooked pork to the pan and pour the sauce over the mixture. Stir well and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the pork.

Garnishing

  1. 9

    Garnish and Serve

Chop the green onions and sprinkle them over the dish along with sesame seeds. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
