Shrimp and Salad Ingredients

Method

Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Boil the Shrimp

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until they are pink and opaque. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Remoulade Sauce

In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, minced garlic, paprika, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until smooth and creamy.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Salad

In a large serving bowl or platter, layer the chopped romaine and iceberg lettuces. Top with the boiled shrimp, julienned carrots, and halved boiled eggs.

  4. 4

    Serve

Drizzle the housemade remoulade sauce over the salad. Serve immediately with extra remoulade on the side.
