Method

Salad Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

Season the shrimp with salt and black pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the shrimp until blackened and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from heat and set aside.

  2. 2

    Make the Vinaigrette

In a small bowl, whisk together the pepper jelly, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the fresh spinach, blackened shrimp, blue cheese, cherry tomatoes, red onion, and spiced pecans.

  4. 4

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle the pepper jelly vinaigrette over the salad and toss gently to combine all ingredients.

  5. 5

    Serve

Divide the salad among serving plates and enjoy with garlic bread on the side.
