Toasted Pita Ingredients

Method

Dip Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Sauté Spinach

In a skillet over medium heat, add the fresh spinach and cook until wilted, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

  3. 3

    Prepare Artichokes

Drain and chop the canned artichoke hearts into smaller pieces.

  4. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, and garlic (minced). Mix until smooth.

  5. 5

    Add Remaining Ingredients

Fold in the sautéed spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes into the cream cheese mixture.

  6. 6

    Transfer to Baking Dish

Transfer the dip mixture into a baking dish and spread it evenly.

  7. 7

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.

Toasted Pita Preparation

  1. 8

    Prepare Pita Bread

While the dip is baking, cut each pita bread into triangles.

  2. 9

    Brush with Olive Oil

In a bowl, mix the olive oil and garlic powder. Brush the mixture over the pita triangles.

  3. 10

    Toast Pita

Arrange the pita triangles on a baking sheet and toast in the oven (can be done alongside the dip) for about 5-7 minutes or until golden and crispy.
