Method

For the Grilled Chicken

  1. 1

    Marinate the Chicken

In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Add the chicken breasts and coat well. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Chicken

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes.

For the Sandwich

  1. 3

    Assemble the Sandwich

Slice the grilled chicken breasts and place them on the bottom half of the hamburger buns. Top with lettuce leaves, a slice of tomato, a slice of cheddar cheese, and a dollop of mayonnaise. Place the top half of the bun on the sandwich.

For the Fries

  1. 4

    Prepare the Fries

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large pot over medium heat. While the oil is heating, cut the potatoes into fry shapes. Pat them dry with a paper towel.

  2. 5

    Fry the Potatoes

Once the oil is hot (about 350°F or 175°C), carefully add the potato fries in batches. Fry for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt while hot.
