Method

Prepare the Wings

  1. 1

    Clean the Wings

Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Wings

In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.

Fry the Wings

  1. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a deep frying pan or pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 375°F (190°C).

  2. 4

    Fry the Wings

Carefully add the chicken wings to the hot oil in batches. Fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to remove the wings and drain them on paper towels.

  3. 5

    Toss in Buffalo Sauce

In a large bowl, toss the fried wings with the buffalo sauce until they are fully coated.

Prepare the Celery Sticks

  1. 6

    Cut the Celery

Wash and slice the celery stalks into sticks about 4 inches long.

Make the Blue Cheese Dressing

  1. 7

    Combine Ingredients

In a medium bowl, mix together the blue cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

  2. 8

    Adjust Seasoning

Taste the dressing and adjust seasoning as needed. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Serve

  1. 9

    Plate the Wings

Transfer the buffalo chicken wings to a serving platter.

  2. 10

    Add Celery and Dressing

Arrange the celery sticks around the wings and serve with the blue cheese dressing on the side.
