Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Dates

Using a sharp knife, make a small slit in each Medjool date and remove the pit. Be careful not to cut all the way through the date.

  3. 3

    Stuff the Dates

Fill each date with approximately 1 teaspoon of goat cheese, pressing it in gently to ensure it stays inside.

  4. 4

    Wrap with Bacon

Cut each bacon slice in half. Wrap one half around each stuffed date, securing the ends with a toothpick if needed.

Cooking

  1. 5

    Arrange on Baking Sheet

Place the bacon-wrapped dates on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, making sure they are not touching.

  2. 6

    Bake in Oven

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and golden brown.

  3. 7

    Drizzle with Balsamic Glaze

Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the hot bacon-wrapped dates before serving.
