In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, shredded carrot, and jalapeños. Toss with a pinch of salt and set aside to marinate.

In a shallow dish, mix flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper. Dredge cod fillets in the mixture, ensuring they are fully coated.

Fry the Fish
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, fry the dredged cod fillets for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Assemble the Tacos
Warm the corn tortillas in a skillet or microwave. Place a piece of fried cod on each tortilla, top with house slaw, sliced avocado, diced tomatoes, crumbled queso fresco, and a drizzle of salsa verde.
