Brûlée Banana Split Recipe
Vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate ice cream with brûléed banana, peanuts, dulce de leche, hot fudge, Italian cherries, and sprinkles. (Serves 2-4!)

Prepare the Ice Cream

Scoop the Ice Cream
Using an ice cream scoop, place 1/3 cup each of vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate ice cream into two serving bowls or dishes.

Prepare the Bananas
Peel the ripe bananas and slice them in half lengthwise.

Brûlée the Bananas
In a skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Place the banana halves cut side up in the skillet. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar over each banana half. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the sugar caramelizes and turns golden brown. Carefully flip the bananas and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
Assemble the Brûlée Banana Split

Add the Brûléed Bananas
Place the brûléed banana halves on top of the scoops of ice cream in each bowl.

Add Toppings
Drizzle 2 tablespoons of dulce de leche and 2 tablespoons of hot fudge sauce over the bananas and ice cream. Sprinkle with chopped peanuts and add 3 Italian cherries to each bowl. Finish with a generous sprinkle of colorful sprinkles.
