Preparation Steps
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a bowl, whisk together the white miso paste, soy sauce, mirin, honey, sesame oil, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- 2
Marinate the Fish
Place the branzino in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the fish, ensuring it is evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
- 3
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 4
Prepare Vegetables
While the fish is marinating, prepare seasonal vegetables (e.g., asparagus, bell peppers, zucchini) by chopping them into bite-sized pieces.
- 5
Roast the Fish and Vegetables
On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, place the marinated branzino and arrange the prepared vegetables around it. Drizzle a little olive oil over the vegetables and season with salt and pepper. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- 6
Serve
Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes. Serve the miso-glazed branzino with the roasted seasonal vegetables on the side.
