Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Poach the Pear

In a small pot, bring water to a simmer. Peel and core the pear, then carefully place it in the simmering water. Poach for about 10 minutes or until tender. Remove and let cool before slicing.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Salad

In a bowl, combine the arugula and chopped walnuts. Drizzle with white balsamic vinegar and toss gently until the arugula is lightly coated.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Bread

Slice the rustic loaf into thick pieces and lightly toast them until golden brown.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Dish

On a serving plate, place the toasted bread. Top each slice with a generous spoonful of fig jam. Add slices of poached pear on top of the fig jam, and then place a piece of burrata cheese alongside the pear. Finally, serve the arugula and walnut salad on the side.
