Method

Octopus

  1. 1

    Prepare the Octopus

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fresh octopus and cook for approximately 30-40 minutes, or until tender. Remove the octopus and let it cool. Once cool, cut the tentacles into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Season the Octopus

In a bowl, mix olive oil, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Add the octopus pieces and toss to coat. Set aside to marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Cucumber Salsa

  1. 3

    Prepare the Salsa

Dice the cucumber, red onion, and cherry tomatoes. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced vegetables with chopped cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Toss well to combine.

Smoked Paprika Crema

  1. 4

    Make the Crema

In a small bowl, combine sour cream, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and lemon juice. Mix until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Crispy Potato Sticks

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F). Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin sticks. In a bowl, toss the potato sticks with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 6

    Bake the Potato Sticks

Spread the potato sticks in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
