Classic Guacamole

Prepare the Avocados
Cut the avocados in half and remove the pit. Scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.

Mash the Avocados
Using a fork or potato masher, mash the avocados to your desired consistency.

Add Lime Juice and Salt
Stir in lime juice and salt until well combined.

Mix in Other Ingredients
Add diced tomatoes, onions, cilantro, and jalapeño (if using) to the bowl. Mix until evenly distributed.

Taste and Adjust
Taste the guacamole and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve immediately or cover with plastic wrap to prevent browning.
