Infused Tequila

Margarita Mix

Method

Infused Tequila Preparation

  1. 1

    Infuse the Tequila

In a clean glass jar, combine the whole habanero peppers with 500 ml of tequila. Seal the jar tightly and let it sit in a cool, dark place for at least 24 hours, or up to 3 days for a stronger heat. Shake the jar gently once a day.

Margarita Preparation

  1. 2

    Prepare the Glass

Moisten the rim of a margarita glass with a lime wedge and dip it into a plate of salt to coat the rim evenly. Set aside.

  2. 3

    Mix the Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, combine 60 ml of pineapple liqueur, 30 ml of Giffard mango liqueur, 45 ml of fresh lime juice, 30 ml of fresh orange juice, and 15 ml of agave nectar. Strain in the habanero-infused tequila to taste, depending on your preferred spice level.

  3. 4

    Shake and Serve

Add 2 cups of ice to the shaker, seal it, and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds. Strain the mixture into the prepared margarita glass filled with fresh ice.
