Preparation of Taco Shells

Warm the Tortillas
In a skillet over medium heat, warm the soft flour tortillas and corn tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until they are pliable.

Cook the Meats
In a large skillet, add the ground beef and chorizo sausage over medium-high heat. Cook until browned, breaking up the meat with a spatula, about 8-10 minutes.

Season the Meat
Once the meat is cooked through, drain any excess fat. Stir in salt, black pepper, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to combine the flavors.
Assembling the Tacos

Fill the Taco Shells
Place a warm tortilla on a plate. Spoon a generous amount of the meat mixture into the center.

Add Toppings
Top the meat with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, sliced jalapeños, and chopped cilantro.

Serve with Lime
Serve the tacos with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the top before enjoying.
