Prepare the Beef

In a large skillet, add the ground beef and cook over medium heat, breaking it apart with a spatula until it is browned.

Drain Excess Fat
Once the beef is browned, drain excess fat if necessary.

Add Seasoning and Simmer
Add the taco seasoning and water to the beef, stirring well to combine. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Assemble the Tacos

Prepare Taco Shells
While the beef is cooking, prepare the taco shells according to package instructions if needed.

Fill Taco Shells
In each taco shell, add a generous portion of the seasoned beef.

Add Toppings
Top the beef with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, mild jack cheese, and sour cream as desired.
