Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Meats

In a large bowl, combine the chicken and flank steak with fajita seasoning, salt, and pepper. Drizzle with olive oil and mix well. Allow marinating for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add sliced bell peppers and onion. Sauté until tender and slightly charred, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook the Meats

In the same skillet, add the marinated chicken and flank steak. Cook until the chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F) and the steak is browned, about 7-10 minutes. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Fajitas

Warm the flour tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave. On each tortilla, layer the cooked meats, sautéed vegetables, rice, refried beans, pico de gallo, lettuce, crema mexicana, and guacamole.

  5. 5

    Serve

Fold the tortillas and serve immediately, with extra pico de gallo and guacamole on the side if desired.
