Cook the Fillings
If using ground beef, cook it in a skillet over medium heat until browned. If using shredded chicken, ensure it is cooked and shredded beforehand.

Prepare Rice and Beans
Prepare the cooked rice according to package instructions. Rinse and drain the black beans if using canned.

Chop Toppings
While the fillings are cooking, shred the lettuce, dice the tomatoes, and set aside the cheese and sour cream.

Assemble the Burrito
Lay one flour tortilla flat on a clean surface. In the center, layer a scoop of cooked rice, followed by black beans, and your choice of ground beef or shredded chicken.

Add Toppings
Top the fillings with shredded cheese, a generous amount of burrito sauce, shredded lettuce, a dollop of sour cream, and diced tomatoes.

Roll the Burrito
Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll it tightly from the bottom to the top. Ensure the fillings are secured inside.
