Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fruits

Wash the orange, lemon, lime, peach, and apple thoroughly. Slice the orange, lemon, lime, peach, and apple into thin wedges or bite-sized pieces. Remove the pit from the peach if necessary. Place all the fruit into a large pitcher.

Mixing

  1. 2

    Combine Ingredients

In the pitcher with the fruits, pour in the red wine, orange juice, and brandy. Stir gently to combine all of the ingredients.

  2. 3

    Add Sweeteners

Add the granulated sugar and the cinnamon stick to the mixture. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.

Chilling

  1. 4

    Refrigerate

Cover the pitcher with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or up to 24 hours. This allows the flavors to meld together.

Serving

  1. 5

    Serve the Sangria

Before serving, add the sparkling water to the pitcher and stir gently. Serve the sangria in glasses filled with ice, making sure to include some of the fruit pieces in each glass.
