Preparation
- 1
Gather Ingredients
Collect all the ingredients listed above to ensure you have everything ready for your quesadilla.
- 2
Prepare the Cooking Surface
Heat a non-stick skillet or frying pan over medium heat. If using, add butter or olive oil to the pan and let it melt.
Cooking
- 3
Assemble Quesadilla
Place one flour tortilla in the skillet. Evenly sprinkle the shredded cheese over the tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges. Top with the second tortilla.
- 4
Cook Quesadilla
Cook the quesadilla for about 2-3 minutes or until the bottom tortilla is golden brown and the cheese begins to melt. Carefully flip the quesadilla using a spatula and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
- 5
Remove and Slice
Once cooked, remove the quesadilla from the skillet and let it sit for a minute. Then, use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to slice it into wedges.
Serving

Serve with Dips
