Method
Preparation
- 1
Grill the Chicken and Vegetables
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper, then grill for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing into strips.
- 2
- 3
Prepare Rice and Beans
If not already done, cook rice according to package instructions. Rinse and drain black beans if using canned.
Assembling the Burrito
- 4
Fill the Tortilla
Lay out the flour tortillas flat on a clean surface. Begin layering the fillings: first add 1/2 cup of cooked rice, followed by 1/4 cup of black beans, grilled chicken strips, sautéed mushrooms, and onions.
- 5
Wrap the Burrito
Fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll it tightly from the bottom up to encase the filling. Ensure the filling is secure inside the tortilla.
- 6
Top with Sauces
Place the rolled burrito on a serving plate. Drizzle the cheese dip over the top, followed by the green and red creamy sauces. Adjust the amount of sauce to your liking.
