Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Vegetables

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers, sautéing until they are tender and caramelized, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Season the thinly sliced ribeye steak with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Cook the steak over medium-high heat for about 3-5 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

Return the sautéed onions and peppers to the skillet with the cooked steak. Mix them together until well combined and heated through.

  4. 4

    Melt the Cheese

Sprinkle the shredded Provel cheese over the steak and vegetable mixture. Cover the skillet with a lid for 1-2 minutes, allowing the cheese to melt.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Sandwiches

Slice the hoagie rolls open and spoon the cheesy steak and vegetable mixture into each roll. Serve immediately.
